DANIEL PARASAUDI "EMETER" is a young artist from Indonesia living and working in Berlin Weißensee. He shares two passions, Art and Cooking. These two artistic universes come together in Daniel Parasaudi's work as an original exploration of the concepts of colors, shapes and story telling. His work, originally developped as Street Art, refers to indonesian culture, political and social issues as well as personnal life experience.

REMY VERBEKEN-ARENA

(15-year-old autistic artist)

After his first exhibition at L’ATELIER in 2022 at the age of thirteen, Remy returns this fall with a brand-new collection of drawings and paintings. His amazingly constant and mastered style both in technics and subjects will once again fascinate and rejoice the public.

Remy says that, in the past year, his approach to painting and drawing has changed in some ways. He uses the same technics, oil, acryl, pencil, but his colours are brighter. Nature and still lives continue to be his favourites but his influences have somewhat broadened. If Van Gogh remains his "Master", Picasso is sometimes competing, especially in portraits.

As his gallerist, I want to add that, if in the paintings these references are visible, his drawings show a somewhat different and very personal style.

Après sa première exposition à L’ATELIER en 2022 à l’âge de treize ans, Remy revient cet automne avec unetoute nouvelle collection de dessins et peintures. Son style étonnamment constant et maîtrisé tant dans les techniques que dans les sujets fascinera et réjouira une fois de plus le public.

Remy dit qu'au cours de la dernière année, son approche de la peinture et du dessin a changé à certains égards. Il utilise les mêmes techniques, huile, acrylique, crayon, mais ses couleurs sont plus vives. La nature et les natures mortes restent ses préférées mais ses influences se sont quelque peu élargies. Si Van Gogh reste son «Maître», Picasso est parfois en compétition, notamment dans les portraits.

En tant que galeriste, jetiens à ajouter que, si dans les peintures ces références sont visibles, ses dessins montrent un style quelque peu différent et très personnel.

Na zijn eerste tentoonstellingin L’ATELIER in 2022 op dertienjarige leeftijd, keert Remy dit najaar terug meteen gloednieuwe collectie tekeningen en schilderijen. Zijn verbazingwekkend constante en beheerste stijl, zowel in techniek als in onderwerpen, zal het publiek opnieuw fascineren en verheugen.

Remy zegt dat zijn benadering van schilderen en tekenen het afgelopen jaar op een aantal manieren is veranderd. Hij gebruikt dezelfde technieken, olie, acryl, potlood, maar zijn kleuren zijn helderder. De natuur en stillevens blijven zijn favorieten, maar zijn invloeden zijn enigszins verbreed. Als Van Gogh zijn "Meester" blijft, concurreert Picasso soms, vooral op het gebied van portretten.

Als zijn galerist wil ik hieraan toevoegen dat, als deze referenties in de schilderijen zichtbaar zijn, zijn tekeningen een enigszins andere en zeer persoonlijke stijl vertonen.

Nach seiner ersten Ausstellung im L’ATELIER im Jahr 2022 im Alter von dreizehn Jahren kehrt Remy diesen Herbstmit einer brandneuen Sammlung von Zeichnungen und Gemälden zurück. Sein erstaunlich konstanter und meisterhafter Stil sowohl in der Technik als auch inden Themen wird das Publikum erneut faszinieren und erfreuen.

Remy sagt, dass sich seine Herangehensweise an das Malen und Zeichnen im vergangenen Jahr in mancher Hinsicht verändert hat. Er verwendet die gleichen Techniken, Öl, Acryl, Bleistift, aber seine Farben sind leuchtender. Natur und Stillleben sind nachwie vor seine Favoriten, aber sein Einfluss hat sich etwas ausgeweitet. Wenn Van Gogh sein „Meister“ bleibt, konkurriert Picasso manchmal, insbesondere bei Porträts.

Als sein Galerist möchte ich hinzufügen, dass seine Zeichnungen, wenn in den Gemälden diese Bezüge sichtbar sind, einen etwas anderen und sehr persönlichen Stil zeigen.

TATIANA KOMAROVA– THE NATURE INSIDE

Artist Tatiana Komarova creates profound structural images inspired by untouched natural landscapes and natural textures. Her works allow viewers to gain insights into themselves and awaken their feelings.

The abstract images are personal and emotional, but everyone sees their own images and feels their own emotions.

ALMUTH KRISKO– INTO ART

When I was studying in Gröningen, in the Netherlands, my early approach to art was mainly concerned with the representation of my family and of the rough landscape of the Emsland.

A second phase began when I moved to Berlin in 1996 and started experimenting various themes and techniques, including digital image processing, which I used, for example, to create "The Horned Ones" and the "AlmuthAnimals".

Then, a dramatic change occurred in my life when I was forced to leave my large studio and move to a very small one. I felt “imprisoned”. This, basically, killed my creativity and, as a result, I gave up my artistic work all together.

About four years later, I took up a drawing course with an abstract artist and, through his very free approach to artistic work, I was able to experiment again, to try out new creative ways, not to be so concerned with the final result. This liberated me and allowed me to enjoy painting and drawing again in a very different and powerful way. This is how I work today, still attached to the representation of the world, but in a much more open style.

Lorsque j’étudiais à Gröningen, en Hollande, ma première approche de l'art était centrée sur la représentation de ma famille et de mon environnement, le paysage sauvage de l'Ems.

Une deuxième phase a commencé lorsque j'ai déménagé à Berlin en 1996 et que j'ai commencé à expérimenter divers thèmes et techniques, dont le traitement numérique de l'image, utilisé par exemple pour créer "Les Cornus" et les"Animaux d'Almuth".

Puis, un changement radical s’est produit dans ma vie lorsque j’ai été contraint de quitter mon grand studio pour emménager dans un tout petit. Je me suis sentie «emprisonnée ». Cela a tué ma créativité et m’a conduite à complètement abandonner mon travail artistique.

Environ quatre ans plus tard, j'ai suivi un cours de dessin avec un artiste abstrait et, grâce à son approche très libre, j'ai pu expérimenter de nouvelles formes de créativité, sans me soucier du résultat final. Cela m'a libéré et m'a permis de retrouver le plaisir à peindre et de dessiner d'une manière très différente et puissante. C'est ainsi que je travaille aujourd'hui, toujours attachée à la représentation du monde, mais dans un style beaucoup plus ouvert.

Die erste Phase während meines Kunststudiums in Gröningen beschäftigt sich hauptsächlich mit der rauen emsländischen Landschaft und der intensiven Auseinandersetzung mit meiner Familiensituation.

Die zweite Phase ab 1996 in Berlin beinhaltet verschiedene Techniken und Themen, es kommt die digitale Bildbearbeitung hinzu. So entstehen z.B. „Die Gehörnten“ und die„Almuthtiere“.

Durch einen unvorhergesehenen Wechsel in ein sehr kleines Atelier entsteht eine wenig kreative Phase, ich beende meine künstlerischen Arbeit.

Ca. vier Jahre später nehme ich an einem Zeichenkurs eines abstrakten Künstlers teil.

Durchseinen sehr freien und viel Raum bietenden Umgang mit der künstlerischen Arbeitbin ich plötzlich wieder in der Lage zu experimentieren, auszuprobieren, nicht auf das Ergebnis fixiert zu sein, also das Malen und Zeichnen wieder zugeniessen.

L’Atelier is a gallery and a cafe situated in the heart of East Berlin. A place to enjoy Art while having a drink and a bite to eat in the relaxing and stimulating athmosphere of an artist studio.

The gallery exhibits works of artists from all horizons and warmly welcomes young artists and students.

The gallery holds a new exhibition every month with vernissage and finissage events open to the public.
